If your agent goes out of business what happens to the deposit when the tenant wants to leave? If the Agent was unregulated legally YOU THE LANDLORD will have to re-imburse the deposit to the Tenant if the Tenancy Agreement reflects a deposit was taken. YOU THE LANDLORD will then need to pursue the Agent for the deposit.
